As a racing driver, you need to promote yourself as well as the team you are affilated to. Our client has progressed over the years, from karting to F4 and came to us to design a race brochure which matched his talent, relentless ambition and his drive.
Context
Our client needed a digital portfolio to showcase their achievements in the sport, that they could use to share with prospective sponsors, organisers and stakeholders.
The primary delivery of the artefact would be via email, so the strategy was to design in a digital presentation format which could be printed, if necessary.

Overview
A clear brief, detailed brand identity guidelines and a variety of photographs and imagery culminated in creating a digital brochure which could be presented as a slide deck or printed.
Challenge
The new CI guidelines were applied to an older layout, which resulted in most of the pages being redesigned, however the copy remained similar.
The Process
We began by mapping new CI elements to existing pages, testing layout patterns and then creating common styles to ensure consistency throughout the brochure. We installed the brand fonts and colour styles. Then we adjusted the flow of the brochure to ensure enough variability in the page layout in order to not make anything look repetitive.
Other processes included:
- Image retouching and resizing to suit page layouts
- Copy refinement and editing
- After 2 rounds of small tweaks here and there, the client approved
Results
We delivered a premium digital brochure which the client was thrilled with. Within weeks of delivery the brochure had already unlocked new opportunities.
