Corporate Identity Creation
Design Brief
The design brief was to create a sophisticated and elegant digital corporate identity that will be the foundation on which the brand is built. It needed to be an identity that could change and expand with the brand.
Challenge
Being primarily used in digital applications, we could experiment with effects like shadows and tints in the design. The design needed to have a distinct logomark element, which would be an identifier and be able to stand on it’s own without the wordmark.
The design also had to have a portrait and landscape variation to be adaptive in whichever digital platform it was required for; ie. website, social media, stationery
The Process
- Research & Discovery: This included a light competitor review and mood board creation
- Conceptualisation: 3 design options presented to show logo structure, proposed typefaces and colour palette
- Refinement: From the 3 options a logo was selected and minor refinements made
- Roll-out: Logo variations, email signature, digital letterhead and examples of stationery and apparel
Results
From start to finish, this branding project was closed out in a few short weeks. The client was thrilled to have quick-reference guidelines which they could refer back to when creating their website and presentation documents.
