Information design needs to have impact and land a concept in less than 3 seconds. The ability to take complex data and craft it into an understandable narrative is a skill we've mastered through years of creating C-Suite strategy decks, agency pitches, and product launches.
Context
An FMCG client collected almost a year’s worth of research, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, products pilot testing and strategy development.
They needed to compile all of this information into a 30 minute presentation which would presented to their Board of Executives. They wanted something that would ‘WOW audience’.

Overview
Transforming 144 slides, thousands of lines of synthesised data, prioritisation matrices, and hundreds of bullet points and wordy paragraphs into a slick, visually compelling, and attention-grabbing presentation deck.
Challenge
A common challenge when working with business leadership is stakeholder availability. It was nearing the end of the year and all stakeholders had a 3-day leadership conference smack-bang in the middle of it.
Through careful planning, we managed to work around their schedules with a few after-hours meetings for feedback and design iterations.
Solution
With a clear objective and hard deadline, we charged ahead and:
- Created an executive-focused framework and flow for the presentation to follow
- Incorporated new branding, including fonts, colour palette and layout preferences in alignment with brand guidelines
- Simplified complex methodologies and process using infographics and data visualisation
- Added animations and transitions to slides for a slick presentation
Results
We created a stand-out presentation which was memorable, delivered visual impact and used data storytelling to sell their solution.
